About Me

Hii!

I'm Jade, a 20-something from the East Midlands, currently living in a little town called Ashby de la Zouch with my boyfriend Dave and here's a little bit about me...

Originally from Derby, I went to Nottingham Trent University where I studied Media & Creative Industries. During university I started writing my first blog, which I loved doing, but third year dissertation hell - plus working all the hours under the sun to save for my post-uni travels - meant that my blog took a back seat and never really got back off the ground.

Throughout college and university I worked at Topshop which is where my shopping and fashion addiction began... Working there for four years taught me so much about personal style and made me much braver with my fashion choices (and it also cost me a fortune!)  

I currently work in Marketing at Boots Head Office in Nottingham which has expanded my interests - and my shopping addiction - in to the world of beauty. I love playing around with makeup, trying out products from different brands and reading up on the latest beauty trends. 

Dave and I are currently in the process of buying our first house which means that my Pinterest and Instagram feeds are increasingly full of interior design and home decor ideas, so you can bet that they'll be making their way on to my blog too. 

This blog will hopefully be somewhere I can share my obsession with fashion, beauty, interiors and any other little offerings of parts of my life. I hope you enjoy reading it,.. any comments, questions or advice are very welcome!
